Pat has been a mortgage professional and Preferred Lender Partner for over 24 years. A graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Pat has a deep understanding of credit worthiness and financial eligibility that allows him to work with every customer regardless of the situation. Pat examines all aspects of qualification and future payments to ensure his customers make the best long-term decision in purchasing or re-financing their homes.
In the last 7 years at Bay Capital Mortgage as Vice President, Pat has served the needs of borrowers in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Pat specializes in 1st and 2nd Mortgages (conventional, government and Jumbo), Construction Loans and Reverse Mortgages. He is the exclusive appointed lender for a privately held builder for over 20 years.
Pat began his career in Mortgage Lending in 1994 and was quickly promoted to Vice President, Area Manager, and Director of Builder Services. Pat led 5 consecutive years of profitable growth for an acquired start-up operation. He successfully retained staff through multiple acquisitions and the introduction of new systems and processes including a conversion to a Loan Entry Platform to an online system and self-service for producing loan officers. He led the marketing and communications plan for the mid-Atlantic area with company sponsored vendor relationships. Prior to the Mortgage Profession, Pat was a Design Engineer and Facility Manager at the Naval Surface Warfare Center with a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Pat contributes to his community through volunteerism at DeMatha Catholic High School (his high school alma mater) as the Assistant Varsity Golf Coach. He also participated in the Strategic Planning Committee for the Mount de Sales Academy Capital Campaign. A member of the DeMatha Hall of Fame for his athletic accomplishments, Pat played Basketball and Golf for Bucknell University with one visit to the NCAA Tournament in both basketball and golf in 1987 and was Captain of the Varsity golf team his senior year. Pat is the father of 2 children, Jack and Alicia, both attending out of state universities. Pat has been married to his wife Janet for 27 years who graduated with Pat from Bucknell in 1989.
